Prevention is always the best treatment. Test out new shoes, gloves or gear before use or pre-treat areas with a cushioned tape. If you blister, follow these tips to bounce back quick:Leave it alone.
Most blisters pop on their own; bursting them too soon can cause infections. Always wash your hands before and after touching a blister.If in pain, pop.
If you can’t function because of a blister, carefully drain it by poking with a sterilized needle or pin. Apply antibiotic ointment and a blister bandage. Change the dressing as needed.Watch for infection.
