Received very old mold infected ink
My one star rating is dew to receiving a very old bottle of ink that smelled horrible and had a mold infestation. Normally Sheaffer Skrip is great safe ink. That being said this bottle was very old with a lable dating to the early 2000's when Bic still owned Sheaffer. It says Bic and made in slovania on the lable. AT Cross bought Sheaffer in 2014 so judging by the evaporation and mold in the ink I'm guessing this ink has been sitting on the shelf for about 10 years. Also purchased a bottle of Skrip blue and it was perfectly fine and the newer Cross copyright and lable on the bottle. Office Depot processed a refund and was easy to deal with via text support. Be cautious about this ink. Hopefully they will throw out all the old bad bottles of this ink.

Deep, Smooth, Reliable Black
I'm using it in a Parker Urban medium. Sheaffer Skrip Black is a very dark black ink that doesn't shade much at all, but flows quite smoothly. It's not the wettest ink, but is far from the driest, and is certainly on the wet side of the range. It can feather on copy paper a bit, but is otherwise a great-behaving ink. Parker Urbans tend to be very picky about which inks they like, so it would likely work well in just about any pen. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a Deep, Dark Black.

Good ink for cheap paper
So I'm a college kid who usually takes notes on cheap 5 section notebooks. In my lamy safari, it behaves perfectly and in my metropolitan I have only had slight feathering in one notebook.
