Description

    Scratch away the top coat of black ink to create stunning images by revealing the white layer below.

    • Create exquisite line drawings and black-and-white illustrations with high contrast.
    • Features a clay-coated hard panel as a rigid substrate.
    • Prepared with a final coat of Higgins Waterproof India Ink on top.
    • Use a scratch knife, hobby knife or abrasive, such as steel wool, to remove the ink and expose the white clay underneath in specific areas.
    • Scratch away the highlights and textures and allow the black coating to remain for shadows.
    • Claybord colored inks can be added to create dramatic impressions (sold separately).
