Carson-Dellosa™ Math Weekly Practice Workbook, Grade 5 is rated out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by lisbon5 from too many typos While the concept of this is great--having students review materials on a daily/weekly basis, the errors I have found make this an unacceptable resource. I had very high hopes for this as a way to have my students review the math concepts throughout the year. At first glance I was super excited by the format and range of problem used. But as I am sitting down to make an answer key, I am appalled by the number of errors I have found already--I am on week 11. Week 1 day 1 had an error on the time problem in the answer key. Okay, something I can correct. But now I am in weeks 10 and 11 and the WORKSHEETS have errors. This is totally unacceptable. Students have enough difficulty with math without giving them a multiple choice question with 2 choices that "are not the same"--converting standard units of volume measurement--Week 11 day 3. Week 10, day 1 asks the students to make a line plot of the number of pencils in their desk and then the label on the line plot is for books read over spring break--What???? Most concerning is week 10 day 4 where students are asked to evaluate why 2 students got different answers in an order of operation question--but the WORKSHEET has a multiplication sign instead of subtraction sign making the question IMPOSSIBLE to answer as written. Week 11, Day 1 has students plot points on a coordinate plane and tell what kind of figure is made--the answer key has rectangle yet there are NO RIGHT angles???--Yes, I can fix that one myself. BUT week 11, day 2 , again on an order of operations gives the answer for the question using a subtraction sign instead of the WORKSHEET symbol is a multiplication sign. HUMMMMMM, worth continuing, just to find out how many errors there are in this now UNUSABLE resource. SUPER worried the rest of the about 25 ebooks I downloaded will also be a total waste of money and time. NOT a happy shopper!!!!!!!
