Really wanted this to work
If I sit too long at my desk without a foot rest, I start to have back pain. From the look and description of this product, it seemed like it would work fairly well. Sadly, it does not. It won't stay in place, even when using minimal foot pressure. Furthermore, when it moves it pops very loudly and echoes through my normally quiet office. I would recommend a cardboard box before recommending this product.

Plastic Material Not Durable
Had been using this at work for about 2 years. Product was fine and the adjustable feature was what I appreciated. However, being pretty much made of brittle plastic, the tabs or clips holding the platform to the base broke off, when I unintentionally applied foot pressure while shifting my weight within my seat.

not sturdy
I bought this for my office about a year ago, after a few uses, it broke. since it is made of plastic I think its not sturdy enough.

Functional
This works nicely, very easy setup. The lock holds the footrest in place securely; the float option works, but is not super smooth. The product fulfills what I was looking for, but it feels pretty cheap, hopefully it will last without breaking.
