Things to Look for When Purchasing a Power Pack

Are your devices USB, or Micro-USB?
Since Micro-USB and standard USB inputs are different sizes, you want to confirm the type of device you have, and ensure that your Power Pack supports this device. -
Do you need to charge multiple devices?
If so, consider a power pack with multiple ports. -
Need to charge an iPad?
Make sure you select a power pack capable of charging 2.1 amp devices -
How much power do you need?
Power Pack battery capacities are measured in mAh. Each Power Pack has a distinct battery capacity, which dictates the types of devices that are recommended for use with the Power Pack. For example, if one of your devices is a tablet, a Power Pack with a minimum of 8400mAh is recommended*. Below is a chart with varying Power Pack capacities and the equivalent charge you can expect from a Power Pack with this battery capacity. -
Connectivity
No one likes carrying around a lot of different cords for different devices. So, Verbatim made it very simple to connect your mobile devices to the Power Pack via USB port. For Micro-USB devices, a USB to Micro-USB adapter cable is included with the Power Pack, and this same cable is used to charge your Power Pack via the USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. -
Status Indicator
Whether it’s the battery indicator on your laptop, phone or tablet, it’s always good to know how much power you have left. The same is true with your Power Pack. The Verbatim Power Packs come with LED indicator lights that let you know how much charge is remaining on the device. Additionally, all Verbatim Power Packs are equipped with a convenient Power On/Auto Off switch, allowing you to conserve power when not in use.
