Enermax Aeolus CP007 Cooling Stand is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by deejaes from Works great, but very heavy and bulky. It definitely cools down a laptop. But it is not easily moved or meant to use on your lap. Description of this item says it is made of lightweight aluminum; which is true for the base. But outer frame is made of steel; plus those heavy rubber "legs"? I just didn't like the design and I was looking for a cooling item that could be used on my lap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Geezerrrr from Perfect Fit!! Cooling Stand is well made. Gimmick lights can be turned off during operation. Fan is very quiet and can be positioned magnetically underneath as desired. Your laptop will sit 1.5" higher on this stand. It fits my Dell 17.3 Laptop perfectly. The stand is about 1/4" wider than the width of my laptop. (14.5" X 11" L-W table stand size) This stand does not tilt. Power cord retainers on rear when laptop is removed. Made in China but well packed for shipment. Office Depot sent it in an additional packing carton. I looked on web site for replacement fan but could not find one for CP007. Free shipping to Alaska with Office Depot!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PJ45 from Impressively Cool & Functional Got this to replace the Targus cooler that died. This one is a much better fit for my laptop (oversized - the chill pads that claim to fit 17" ones don't fit this one). It's nice and sturdy, designed to tilt the back end up a bit; the rollbar on the front keeps the laptop from sliding off. The grill underneath is metal (holes throughout for good cooling. The fan is attached to the grill with small magnets on the corners so you can move it around to the hottest spot under your laptop for maximum efficiency. There's a pass-through on the USB connector, so you can plug other items into it and not lose the use of your USB port. The other wire coming from the fan is a clicker switch for the LED "Vegas lights." I don't have any need for this function, but there are different settings - including Off - so despite looking a bit clunky, it works just fine. Thinking ahead, I'd imagine that if/when the fan ever dies on this one, I may be able to replace just that part and attach it to the grill. That's how much I like this setup.
