Shade is cheap
I've had an Adesso Metropolis lamp for about 18 months. It also has 2 150w bulbs (I use LEDs on that one) and it looks and works great. I bought this one because the shade looks a little more modern than the Metropolis. I should have realized that because of the cost difference (the Pisces is about $25 cheaper than the Metropolis) that I'd be giving something up. Turns out the shade on the Pisces is plastic vs the glass shade on the Metropolis. You can definitely tell the difference. The Pisces shade looks wobbly and uneven.
Another difference is the thickness of the metal tube. The Pisces is much thinner than the Metropolis. I prefer the thicker look.

floor lamp for office
Easy ordering, came fast, well packaged, easy to assemble. I like the look of it and it gives off good light. Has two settings for the light - I didn't expect that, but is fine. A bit hard to screw in the light bulbs the first time, but not a big problem.
