Looks a little funky IMO but works great!
Shape of this unit seems a little funky to me but it does what it's supposed to and that's what counts! Provides 3 further spaced outlets for larger plugs which is also great. Works as advertised - always recommended!

I just wanted to add my 5 star rating to the Pro8. I've owned two for many, many years. I've never had a problem with them. I rarely use the front button. Either my equipment is on 24/7 or if I go on vacation, I unplug it from the wall. Therefore, I've not experienced any button problems that has been mentioned. I really like the number of outlets and the three spaced for large power adapters. I've never run out of space plugging my stuff in to these. I recently purchased another for a family member after their unprotected equipment got zapped.

Surge Arrest Professional Saved my Devices
Purchased this product years ago with a high level desktop. Well the surge arrest has been providing protection and reliable operations to my AC powered devices for years. All the sudden my house developed an electrical problem. The ground wire from the utility power pole developed a high resistance. This made my lights flicker and the voltage to my house would drop every time I turned something on. The surge arrest detected these swings in the voltage and smoked. Saving my AC powered electric devices connected to it! Power Company representative says I can file a claim and they will reimburse for my loss. I will go with another APC Surge Arrest by Schneider Electric!
