You might consider obtaining this product!
Umm, this item solved the problem in as far as filling the 20mm gap in a 54mm wide slot where a 30mm wide size express card was being used. I had determined that the sloppy fit of the hardware card was causing the problems I had to over come. This card has to fit properly in it's slot to function correctly. I'm using this product in a DELL notebook/laptop. As far as a properly fitting card goes, you probably want to use this product in any machine that it's associated hardware works with. Folks, I tried some jury rigged solutions and trust me they do not work as reliably as this product does. I don't know why Startech doesn't automatically include this item with their Express card products to begin with.
