Safco® Apres Tall Cabinet, 60"H, Mahogany is rated out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nighthawk from Fully functional The cabinets look good and protect my books from dust. That's their job. You should be aware that the door glass is plastic. Also, when assembling, the hinges are tricky. Just start all three on each side then tighten them down after all three are started. Tighten down the middle one first then the two ends. The instructions just say "Install hinges". I put together four of these cabinets so I had some practice. I feel these cabinets are expensive for what they actually are. They are made out of some kind of compresssed fiberboard with the lamination covering and translucent plastic on the doors. They do the job of protecting my books though and are very handsome in my office. If I needed a fifth bookcase I would still buy another one of these to match the first four. They are five feet tall and I felt I was looking down at them. I made stands twelve inches tall for each of them and stained them to match making the cases much more distinctive. That had the added benefit of getting them up off of the floor. A little expensive but if you want to protect your books, spend the money.
