Economy Otoscope is rated out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by PA2018 from Otoscope POS: I purchased OTOSCOPE as a PA-c in primary practice ( and to check my son's ears when he gets a respitory illness) and absolutely serves its purpose. Simple to use and simple to operate. I am very happy with the product. I am not ENT specialty so I have no need for mutiple functions or magnifications. NEG: the otoscope comes with reusable pieces but I would have like to have received a few differently sized disposable covers to get me started right away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike from Sure Bet, "Economy" is accurate, quality is nice I was a little skeptical about buying an otoscope online from Office Depot. However, this is somewhat of a specialty item and places that I was going to buy an otoscope sold expensive ones (100-160 dollars minimum). I was considering just forking out hundreds of dollars to buy one really nice one like an Welch Allyn or some major brand sold at a university/medical store since I would be using it for the rest of my life. But then, I don't really have income right now so after a few hours of research i found this ADC. I thought ADC was a safe bet since it's European and there were more expensive models at the bookstore and looked impressive. But anyway, I like this otoscope, it has sufficient magnification it feels sturdy and I like the circular lens shape for the head. it also comes with three ear nozzle pieces. compared to an welch allyn I was borrowing at clinic, it's easier to look through the lens. However, the allyn has much higher magnification power so the ear drum appears much bigger. but with the allyn I have to squint and aim carefully and look at just the right angles to get a good view. I'm a nurse practitioner Student. For primary care this will suit all your needs.
