Rated 5 out of 5 by laura from Laminate, ready set learn When I got my set, I had to laminate it all first. Then we were off and running. The CenterSolutions for the Common Core Language Arts file folder game is ready for your kinders to learn. I love that it is self checking so if I am working with a group they can check their answers and keep going. ( I had the answer key laminated on the back cover.) I love how their are 16 different games. I love that it covers several skills including visual discriminations, letter matchup, rhymes, beginning and ending sounds. This little box of goodies will last the entire year. It has a game that you can use at the beginning of the year and games that will take you to the end of the year. A perfect box to any classroom!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rachel91 from common core aligned game that is great with small groups These were very good in the fact that I have already used these within my small group instruction. My students really liked the colorful pictures and folders. I did laminate the folder and file pieces for durability but feel I could have easily used these without having to do that. The pieces were very thick which I really liked for my students to be able to grasp them more easily. I liked them so much that I am also wanting to purchase the math folders too especially since they are all aligned with Common Core. I would definately reccomend these to any teacher.

Rated 4 out of 5 by melabc123 from CenterSoultions for Language Arts I have been using CenterSolutions for the Common Core with my kindergarten class. The set includes 16 colored file folder games with coordinating pieces, answer keys, and a resource guide. It has been a wonderful addition to my literacy center rotation. The games are also self-checking which encourages my kinders to be independent workers. It’s a perfect solution for small group work and also for kids who are early finishers. This set covers a broad range of literacy skills and it’s an easy way to integrate more common core into your classroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shelley07 from My kids loved these games. The Center Solutions Kindergarten Language Arts File Folder games are wonderful. When I first opened them I was surprised to find that the games were pretty much ready to be used in the classroom. The pieces just needed to be torn apart, I loved that I didn’t have to cut them apart to use them. The pieces are bright and the pictures and words are big enough for students to be able to see it and read it. There are 16 games all together with a variety of types ranging from rhyming, sequencing, beginning and ending sounds, and word syllables. There are enough games that students can play alone or they can play in partners. The games help to lay a foundation for students learning. My students love to play these games, they are getting to play and learn at the same time. It also includes a 24-page resource guide. I loved these games so much that I would buy the Math File Folder games that go along with it.
