Rated 4 out of 5 by mandrake1951 from return spring too strong I loved my Powerlock 33-423 but seems it was discontinued. Bought a Fatmax 33-716,great tape. However I find the return spring much too aggressive. The locking mechanism is a little stiff to apply.I also own a Fatmax 33-725 and those features are not an issue. With the exception of the above, it is a great tape to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Czapa from Quality went down with the price I've been a loyal Stanley FatMax customer for years, lately it’s been noticeably worse in quality the blade is thinner and not a stiff it's. Lot harder to take vertical measurements it twists down. Please go back to making them the way you did before. I guess the price went down so did the quality. I don’t mind paying more if it’s good quality.
