Rated 1 out of 5 by Washington from Doesn’t work. Don’t buy. My product does not work. AT ALL. I reached out to Belkin to aid in remedying the problem and no response via twitter. I am going to return but I am thoroughly disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Horrible for firmware upgrades I've had a Wemo Insight for over two year now and have given up on trying to keep the firmware up to date. The process breaks all the time. I have done factory resets so often that I'm sick of it. And the Wemo app for Android is horrible when trying to set up a factory reset Wemo. I know devices that use Wifi are typical touch and go with the constant WiFi network switching, but Belkin software engineers are anything BUT engineers! Horrible software, and I'm sure their poorly designed hardware doesn't make it easy. I'll never buy another Wemo or Belkin product due to this lousy experience. I'm on the edge of throwing this expensive junk away and trying something else, any other brand but Wemo!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mike546676554 from Poor product I bought this to try to turn a timer on and off at several times during the day. But timer is so rudimentary it only can work once a day. Interfaces are amateur, difficult to connect and support from Belgin hopeless. Total waste of money. Others are better at half the price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by dickyp123 from Both great and frustrating at the same time If you want a wifi plug that will work with a mobile app in a simple scenario then all is good. My scenario is a bit more complex where I want a PIR to control the Wemo insight plug using an applet ...all on IFttt It was complex to set up . The features for controlling the plug on IFTTT did not give me the features I needed. Which specifically were - if you detect movement then turn on for <x> hours. so the plug might be just great but it is existing in a slightly immature control context .....WeMo fault or not ? ....who knows.....but at the end of the day I cannot achieve what I want as a consumer
