Rated 5 out of 5 by Shelley07 from Students can't wait to use these. The Common Core Task Cards I have are for grade 2 and there are 50 Math and 50 Language Arts cards. They are wipe-away so the students can write their answer on it. They were excited about getting to do that. One of the Language Arts cards gave a description of the desert and they had to make a T-chart comparing the information. One of the Math cards asked them to name the fractions. This is very helpful to use in the classroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsE73 from You get a lot! There are 50 task cards for math and 50 cards for language arts. Of course, they align perfectly with Common Core. I like the size... I think because the cards are small, they are less overwhelming for students who might be intimidated by an entire page of problems. I also like that they are write-on/ wipe-off. As I'm sure you already know, that is motivation enough to get a student to want to complete it :) There are several helpful tools at activities.carsondellosa.com. So make sure you check it out! I think the math cards would be perfect for students to use with a math journal. I am always looking for more ways for the students to write, write, write! I can't wait to use these task cards with my students in the fall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ABCgirls from Thinking Cards I was super excited when I received the CenterSolutions for the Common Core Task Cards. Who would have ever thought such a little box would hold so many activities. The cards are divided equally between math and language arts skills that require various levels of critical thinking. There are fill-in-the-blanks, word problems, analogies, computation, writing prompts, etc. Students are asked to explain their answers. A teacher resource guide includes charts that can be used to monitor student progress as well as help in planning, documentation, and assessments. My students love the sturdy, laminated activity cards. I used them in small group, but will use them for individualized instruction for differentiation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ABCgirls from Thinking Cards I was super excited when I received the CenterSolutions for the Common Core Task Cards. It is amazing how much this little box can hold. The cards are equally divided into math and language arts activities that require varied levels of critical thinking for students. There are word problems, analogies, fill-in-the-blanks, writing prompts, etc. Each card is numbered so teachers/students can record their progress using the free teacher resource guide which includes charts for monitoring. They are also labeled with the Common Core Standards for your planning, documentation, and assessments. I used them during small groups. My students loved that they are laminated, so they can write-on and wipe-off.
