A restaurant industry veteran of more than 15 years, Patrick Whalen opened 5Church in May 2012. 5Church is a casual, yet refined, dining experience famous for its 60-Second Steak and 5Church Lamb Burger. Located in the heart of Charlotte, NC, and ranked one of the "Top 100 Dining Hot Spots in America" by The Wall Street Journal, 5Church currently employs 60 people and continues to be a staple of fine cuisine in the Charlotte community. In addition to opening a second 5Church location in the near future, Whalen also currently owns and operates Nan and Byron’s, another established restaurant on the Charlotte dining scene.
