Office Depot User Generated Content (UGC) Terms & Conditions

Thanks for considering our request to use your post and your picture, including your image, if any, (“Content”). We love to see how our customers are using our products and services, and we want to share that love.

You own your Content, but if you agree to allow us to use and share it, then you (“User”) grant Office Depot, LLC, including, without limitation, its related and affiliated entities, its subsidiaries and its licensees, successors and assigns (“Office Depot”) the non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to publish, broadcast, transmit and otherwise use your Content (“User Content”) for purposes related to advertising, promotion, and furthering Office Depot’s business interests as Office Depot may determine. The User Content may be used by Office Depot in whole or in part, in edited, derivative, or shorted form in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed without territorial, time or other use limitations, without attribution or compensation to User.

By giving us permission, User represents and warrants that:

• User is the sole author and owner of the User Content and all intellectual property rights thereto;
• all “moral rights” that User may have in the User Content have been voluntarily waived by User;
• all User Content posted is accurate;
• that User is at least 13 years old; and
• use by Office Depot of the User Content does not violate these terms and conditions and will not cause injury to any person or entity. 

Users understand that the intent of these terms and conditions is to convey to Office Depot any and all rights that User may have to the User Content (or the edited version thereof), so that Office Depot may use it for production, distribution, broadcast, marketing, advertising and promotion without any additional approval from or compensation to User.

User agrees that Office Depot will be the sole owner of all rights in and to any work created by or for Office Depot that uses User Content, in whole or in part.

User agrees that User shall have no claim of any kind or nature whatsoever against Office Depot based on the use of any User Content.
