What are the benefits if I join?
Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards program is a free rewards program. Members earn 2% back in rewards in store and online on almost every item including technology, furniture, supplies and services. The only items members do not earn rewards on include Office Depot Marketplace items, delivery fees, postage stamps, gift or pre-paid cards; lottery; any services relating to tech, furniture, marketing or administrative, or any third-party services. Office Depot Business Select members are not eligible for membership in the Rewards Program.
Plus, Members get:
• $2 back in bonus rewards for recycling ink and toner cartridges (up to 10 per month);
• $2 back in bonus rewards for product reviews (limit 3 approved reviews per month, rewards post within 5 days).
Become a VIP Rewards Members by spending $500 or more within a 365-day period. In addition to enjoying everyday benefits listed above, VIP Rewards Members get:
• 5% back in rewards on ink & toner; case, ream and photo paper; copy, print and other products/services in store at our copy and print centers (excluding thermal fax paper, paper rolls used in adding machines and cash registers, postage stamps and delivery orders of online purchases of photo products)
• FREE 2-business-day delivery, with no minimum purchase required, on qualifying orders within our local delivery areas. for Members within the contiguous 48 U.S. Members in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands- will be subject to the standard minimum purchase requirements of Our Free Delivery Terms and Conditions, linked below. Office Depot will determine in its sole discretion which purchases are qualifying purchases eligible for free delivery. Most furniture, oversized, bulk cases of bottled water and other beverages, special-order and custom print items do not qualify. Marketplace products, products sold and shipped by third parties on officedepot.com, are excluded and are subject to the delivery policy of the marketplace seller. Please note that VIP status will be effective 30 days after the required $500 in purchases are posted to the member account. Returned items, the value of free gifts with purchase and the redemption of reward certificates and merchandise/gift cards will not count toward the $500 requirement. Members enjoy VIP member benefits for the 12 months following their VIP benefit effective date.

Do my rewards certificates expire?
Yes, you have at least 60 days to use your certificates. Check your certificate(s) expiration date by logging into your online account or by viewing your monthly statement email sent out on the 2nd Monday of each month. Certificates must be used by the expiration date so don’t let your certificates expire – shop today!
What are “Members-Only Savings”?
Throughout the year, members can take advantage of promotions that are available to Rewards members only. Take advantage of instant pricing discounts through Rewards Member Pricing events or Bonus Rewards promotions. Bonus Rewards you earn are paid out the very next day.
Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards (“Program”): Rewards are earned on the price paid for an item or service before tax and after deducting all discounts, the value of free gifts and the value of any rewards and/or merchandise certificates/cards applied to that purchase. No rewards are earned on delivery fees; postage stamps; gift or pre-paid cards; lottery; Secure Shredding and Storage services; tech, furniture, marketing or administrative services; or any third-party services. Program rewards are paid out monthly online only as a rewards certificate when a minimum of $3 is earned. Program rewards will expire at the end of each calendar quarter if less than $3 has been earned. Bonus rewards are paid out separately next-day and do not contribute to the calculation of Program rewards. Office Depot Business Select members are not eligible to participate in the Program. Rewards certificates are redeemable for future purchases at Office Depot and OfficeMax stores, officedepot.com, or by phone at 800-GO-DEPOT. Limit 1 account per household/business. Recycling Rewards: $2 back in rewards is earned for each recycled cartridge, up to 10 per month, when you make a $10 qualifying purchase in the same month. $10 qualifying purchase is required after discounts and excludes tax, delivery fees, purchases of all gift and prepaid gift cards, lottery, postage stamps, and purchases made with rewards and/or merchandise certificates/cards. We do not accept damaged cartridges. Recycling Rewards will post to a member’s account the next day after the $10 qualifying purchase is met.
