I was given a Laser pointer as a gift but the person paid cash and didn't keep the receipt. I have multiple laser pointers so I went to see if I could return it for a gift card and purchase something else and they would not accommodate me. They have the identical item in their store so it is not like I am trying to return something that isn't from them. That will be my last time visiting an Office Max. I would like to edit the review after receiving communication from Office Max to rectify the situation. Management has gone out of their way to e-mail me and call me to set up a time I would like to go in and return the item. I have done so and received a gift card for the amount of the purchase which I plan to use in that store. I appreciate my voice being heard and the follow up on this matter.

Great experience consistently for me personally. Not sure if it’s the cheapest, but I’ll pay extra for the great service if the supplies I constantly purchase there are a little bit more. Their assistance has helped me make good decisions in the past with what specifically to purchase. In addition, they have always been willing to help me find something, even if they are in the middle of stocking something for example.
