Too Tall
We originally ordered this chair for one of our office ladies who is 4'11, I'm 5'4 and the other lady is 5'9. We've all 3 tried the chair and it is way too tall, we might as well be sitting on our desk. It's so strait up and down that it puts too much pressure on your knees and shins. There is a way to lower and raise it but we have it as low as it will go. I can't imagine anyone would ever need to use it on the highest setting.

I have used this type of chair for years and love them. But this one is to tall and will not adjust down low enough. The padding is great, but can't use it

I've used this kind of seat for twenty years, but I'll be exchanging this one for the Boss brand, item # 634178, which costs quite a lot less than this. This Office Star Work Smart is much too high, two inches higher than most like it. It's height causes a very steeply angled seat and puts a lot of pressure on the knees; if I were to raise the seat I'd be kneeling, not sitting. I have to lean to one side or the other to use my mice at my average desk. I can't put my toes on the floor to scoot the seat around; that's a big inconvenience. This one's lowest seat height is 22", the others that I prefer are about 20" minimum and are much more versatile than this one. If you're experienced with this type of seat, you know that its unique geometry causes a small difference in height to make a big difference in posture.
This chair is, however, nicely padded and well constructed; it's a good quality product.
