Good quality but heavy – costs more to mail
These are indeed padded mailers, not bubble mailers; I wish I had paid more attention to the distinction. Padded means filled with paper fiber; this gives good protection but makes the mailer stiff (doesn't hold as much) and heavy, 2.5 oz each. Compare with item 293064, which is an identical order except that they are bubble mailers. I bet they come in under 2oz, maybe under 1oz. but I can't tell because Office Depot doesn't list weight as one of the specs, a glaring omission for a mailing item. If I use all 25 mailers for mailings that come in under 13oz (so mailed as first class instead of Priority), they will each cost me 22 or 44 cents more than the bubble mailer competitor. That's $5-10 more postage total, which is more than the difference in cost between this item and #293064. So while I am not unhappy with my purchase, next time I will probably buy the slightly more expensive item 293064; the total cost will be less.

Perfect
I like this for sending products to customer. Great presentation and it is self seal which is perfect. I dont need to apply anuy tape or staples.
