Today I went in to purchase a pack of copy paper. I picked up a pack that was lying on the shelf and proceeded to check out. I was greeted by a very unfriendly cashier. She never made eye contact and acted as if it was a chore to wait on me. The paper wouldn't ring up and she stated that she would be right back. I followed and she explained to me that the paper wasn't for sale, it is paper that the store uses to make copies. I totally understand and that's when the manager in a hurry told me that I cannot buy it. So he handed me a pack of paper that was also left on the self (not in its home location) and started to walk away. I asked if he could check me out and he said "no, I am going to lunch". I then proceeded to the check out for a second time. The cashier was worse this time around than she was the first time. I stated that I didn't know that I had to wait inline again (no response) from her. I work in customer service and own my own business. I would never let any employee treat customers the way they did. Always remember that a first impression is a lasting impression that can build or destroy a business. I hope that they can find happiness in another job!!!

Purchased a print cartridge. Left the store. Come right back after realizing I had the wrong model. They refused to allow me to swap it out! My company spends thousands with then each year. I'm done with this freaking office depot. Hello online merchants!

Not a prime store or location to justify a large staff, they do well enough with what they have.
