Rated 3 out of 5 by bobbyjr from decent eraser I got this because I had problems with pink eraser; tearing the paper and discoloring. It is a little better but not enough for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rw74 from Perfect for Antiquarian Books. These erasers are great for removing pencil marks from books. They are very gentle on older, often frail paper. They are also useful for removing the dust that collects on the upper edges of text-blocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JustMe from a durable eraser for graphics projects I'm not sure what the applied use was for the reviewers who found Magic Rub erasers pricey and of poor quality... I've used them for years in graphics arts, and they are so much better than the "standard" pink erasers in removing pencil marks or lines from such projects. Keep in mind that any eraser will have its limitations. If you are heavy-handed when using a pencil and the graphite is embedded deep into the paper, there will be a certain amount of remaining pencil marks left behind. Equally, if you use heavy pressure to try and erase on a delicate paper like a tissue or thin vellum, chances are you'll wear down the paper surface. Magic Rub erasers generally do not remove ball pen ink. They will not remove permanent marker ink. Certain colored pencils may also resist erasure. If you're using these erasers in school work, then the cost per unit may be more than they're worth to you. You'll probably be better served by using the cheaper pink ones.. For artists, graphic designers and those who make light pencil notations these erasers do their job well.
