DC Connector Power Inverters

Get a convenient, small DC-to-AC power inverter that plugs into your vehicle's DC connector, and charge small electronics while you travel. Many power inverters include at least one 120-volt outlet for charging anything that plugs into a standard outlet, as well as a single USB power outlet, for charging items like cell phones. DC connector power inverters are excellent additions to your vehicle because they are small enough to keep in the vehicle's glove box. Direct-to-Battery Power Inverters

For greater power resources on the go, consider a direct-to-battery power inverter, which attaches directly to your vehicle's battery and converts its DC power to AC power. Power tools on a work site or small appliances on an RV campground with inverters can be fume-free substitutes for gas generators. Look for inverters with the number of outlets and amount of power you need, as well as extras like low battery alarms and automatic shutoff functions, to prevent deep battery discharge.
