A: Yes. Post it Notes are designed to remove cleanly from smooth, indoor surfaces when used as directed. For best results, apply Sticky Notes to a clean, dry surface and press firmly along the adhesive edge. 

Q: What size Post it Notes should I choose (for example, 3 in x 3 in vs. 3 in x 5 in)? 
A: Select the size based on how much you need to write. Here are some recommendations: 

• 3 in x 3 in Sticky Notes: quick reminders, short lists, page callouts 

• 3 in x 5 in Sticky Notes (and larger): longer notes, phone messages, meeting/action items

Q: Will ink smear or bleed through Post it Notes? 
A: Most pens and pencils work well on Post it Notes. Ink performance can vary by writing instrument (especially with some bold markers), so if bleed-through or smearing is a concern, test your preferred pen or marker on a Sticky Notes sheet before writing heavily.
