Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards Program ("Program") Terms and Conditions

Membership Eligibility

• A Program member ("Member") is eligible to receive Program rewards on purchases made at Office Depot and OfficeMax stores, by phone at 1.800.463.3768, in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands at 1.800.573.4624, or online at officedepot.com. Office Depot Business Select Members are not eligible to participate in the Program.
• No annual fee for membership. New and existing Members in this Program must be at least 18 years old, must be legal residents of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands and must maintain a valid email address.
• By participating in the Program, you consent to these terms and conditions ("Terms"). Any changes to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting at officedepot.com/rewards.
• ODP Business Solutions customers, formerly Office Depot Business Solutions Division customers, State, Municipal and Federal Government accounts and resellers and Business Select members are not eligible to participate in the Program.
• Limit one (1) Program account per household/business. Membership is not transferable or assignable and is not for resale or auction.
• Members who join in store or over the phone must create an online account by logging in to officedepot.com/rewards with their member number and complete all required fields to access their rewards certificates and manage their account.
• Only one (1) email address per account will be accepted.
• Communications about the Program, including rewards fulfillment, will primarily be communicated by e-mail or on officedepot.com/rewards.
• Members who opt out of receiving promotional/marketing emails from the Program will continue to receive emails regarding their account and rewards status. These emails are part of being enrolled in the Program.

Rewards Member Price

• Rewards Member Price is an exclusive price on select items specifically for Members. In store, Members must provide their Member number or phone number at time of purchase. Online, Members must be logged in to receive the Rewards Member Price.
• Coupons and free gift offers cannot be combined with Rewards Member Price items. If you present a coupon or if there is a free gift offer, we will do the math and calculate the better price. You will get the in-store price/free gift offer or your Rewards Member Price, whichever is the lower price/better value.

Rewards

• Members earn 2% back in rewards on purchases of everything except the following ("Program rewards"):
  • Office Depot Marketplace items;
  • Delivery fees;
  • Postage stamps;
  • Gift or pre-paid cards;
  • Tech, furniture, marketing or administrative services;
  • Any third-party services.

• Program rewards are paid out monthly as a rewards certificate when a minimum of $3 is earned. Program rewards will expire at the end of each calendar quarter if less than $3 has been earned.
• Bonus rewards are paid out separately and do not contribute to the calculation of Program rewards (See below for details on bonus rewards)
• VIP Rewards Members will receive additional benefits outlined in the section below.
• All Rewards are earned on the final price paid at checkout for an item or service, excluding tax and delivery fees, after all discounts are applied and after deducting the value of any free gifts with purchase and the value of any reward and/or merchandise certificates/cards applied to that purchase.
• Rewards are not earned on returned merchandise.
• Members must present their membership card, member number, telephone number or email address at check out to earn rewards.
• If a Member forgets to provide their Member number when making a qualifying purchase, the Member can have the Program rewards credited to their account any time after the purchase, but no later than 3 days after the end of the calendar quarter in which the purchase was made. Log in to the Member account and click the Add a Purchase link or call 1-866-562-3872. The receipt is required.
• There is no maximum amount of Program rewards that can be earned.
• Program rewards for in-store purchases will post to a Member’s account 2 business days after the transaction. Program rewards for most delivery orders will post 4 business days after the transaction.
• Program rewards certificates are available online within 30 days after the end of the calendar month. Members can:
  • Print a reward certificate to present in store for redemption;
  • Access rewards on their smartphone and present in store for redemption; or
  • Ask a cashier to access their rewards through our cash registers at check out in store for redemption.

• Office Depot reserves the right to issue rewards in any form, including, but not limited to, coupons or checks ("reward documents").
• Rewards certificates/documents do not constitute property, do not entitle a Member to a vested right or interest and have no cash value. Rewards certificates/documents are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable and are not assignable for any reason. The sale of rewards certificates/documents is strictly prohibited. The issuance of rewards certificates/documents is final except in the event that a rewards certificate/document has been issued in error. Lost or stolen rewards certificates/documents will not be reissued.

Redemption

• Members can redeem rewards certificate/documents in up to a limit of 3 transactions per day.
• Program rewards certificates are valid for 60 days after the date of issuance.
• All rewards certificates/documents expire at 11:59 PM ET on the date printed on the certificate/document.
• No extensions or exchanges will be allowed for expired rewards.
• Program rewards certificates may be redeemed on purchases (excluding all gift and prepaid cards) at Office Depot or OfficeMax stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, online at officedepot.com, and by phone.
• Rewards documents may be redeemed according to the terms and conditions printed on the rewards document. 
• Rewards certificates/documents cannot be redeemed on items that are on back order on officedepot.com.

Ink and Toner Recycling Rewards

• Members earn $2 in recycling rewards for each recycled ink or toner cartridge, up to 10 per month, when they make a qualifying $10 purchase in the same month.  Qualifying purchases exclude taxes; delivery fees; postage stamps; gift and prepaid cards; and purchases made with rewards/ merchandise certificates/cards. Recycling rewards are issued separately from Program rewards are paid out the day after the $10 qualifying purchase is met.
• Additional cartridges can be recycled, but rewards will only be earned on the monthly limit of 10.
• We do not accept damaged cartridges for recycling.
• Recycling rewards can be redeemed in accordance with the "Redemption" Section above.

Bonus Rewards Promotions

• Periodically, Members can earn additional rewards on purchases of select products through bonus rewards promotions. Members are subject to the terms and conditions of each bonus rewards promotion.
• Bonus rewards are issued separately from Program rewards. Bonus rewards are paid out on the day after the qualifying purchase posts to a Member’s account.
• Bonus rewards can be redeemed in accordance with the "Redemption" Section above.

Engagement Rewards Promotions

• Periodically, Members can earn additional rewards through engagement rewards promotions where the Member will be invited to complete certain tasks. Members are subject to the terms and conditions of engagement rewards promotions.
• Engagement rewards are issued separately from Program rewards. Engagement rewards will post to the Member’s account in accordance with the terms and conditions of the engagement rewards promotion.
• Engagement rewards can be redeemed in accordance with the "Redemption" Section above.
