Rated 1 out of 5 by Rob9 from I never got past removing the packaging Worst knife ever, I can't get the cardboard packaging out of the slot where the blade should be inserted. Why put unextractable stuff in an inaccessible slot?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Syncro from Even with no Instructions, no problems It came as part of a Stanley / Black+Decker "Project Kit" and there were no instructions for the knife. I pressed the black button at back of the top and the lower black part of the handle dropped down revealing the blade storage. Hint: Hold the sides at the silver part when you do this. I came here looking for instructions, found the reviews, and gathered that you: "1. Press down and slide holder (silver knob) forward. 2. Push yellow button. 3. insert blade." I did so, making sure the flat top of the blade went all the way in. At first I couldn't slide the adjuster back until I pressed the silver knob firmly, then slid my thumb off until it popped up. Now I could press the silver knob and slide it back to retract the blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Monroe from Best utility knife available. I have so many of these and they all work great. I fail to understand how someone would need instructions for this. Super simple to use. High quality product. I can't believe all of the one star reviewers can't figure out how to use it.
