BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils Rock!
Ever since I was in high school I have loved using mechanical pencils. There was always a sharp point and I didn't have to go looking for a pencil sharpener. For me, the one thing I wanted to know before getting the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils was how readily available the lead refills would be. There is nothing worse than running out of lead and not being able to find the correct lead refill. Thankfully, refills are easily located. I had my son try it out first. And he loved them, especially the different colors (not the pink because it was too girly for him) and the cushion grip, as he tends to hold pencils and pens with a tight grip (me too). Our inventory of stubby pencils have finally decreased! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best Mechanical Pencils Yet
I am totally in love with Velocity from BIC. It's helpful for the kids to write with as they aren't teeny tiny in there hands. It also has this nice comfort sleeve for where the fingers do so there isn't hard wood or plastic making indentions in the fingers. We can write for hours on end and it doesn't make our hands cramp up from repeated use. They erase clean away when mistakes are made. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
