Popular Styles of Notebooks

• Composition Notebooks are a popular solution for students and teachers. Primary composition notebooks are great for younger students, with additional lines to help develop neat handwriting. Meanwhile, older students can choose between college-ruled or wide-ruled composition notebooks, depending on how much space they prefer between each line. You may also consider purchasing graphing composition notebooks, which may be useful to those studying math or design.
• Spiral Notebooks have several advantages that make them popular for notetaking. The spiral binding allows for easy page turning and the ability to open flat. This makes writing on both sides of the page more convenient. Spiral notebooks also come in a variety of page rulings including wide for younger students, college for older students and professionals, and graph for math and design. Another nice thing for students is spiral notebooks have 3 subject, 5 subject, and 7 subject options available for students looking to keep all their notes in one notebook.
• Writing Pads have a hard backing which provides a hard surface to write on when a desk or tabletop isn't available. They also are a more open format which makes writing on them less restrictive. These are popular in the legal field which primarily uses legal pads.
