What are pocket folders used for in school?

Many students use folders with pockets at school or home regularly. Their convenient compartments help hold important papers like homework, graded tests, and class or school announcements. Pocket folders give students somewhere easy to stash all their loose paper and enable them to carry paperwork on the go. Some folders come with three holes punched along the binding, which is useful for students who want to place folders into binders.

Teachers and administrators are also big fans of pocket folders. Folders are great for things like back-to-school welcome packets and other informational packs for students. Plastic pocket folders are also resistant to tears and great for presentations, like book reports.

What are the best pocket folders?

Many students use pocket folders multiple times throughout the school day. That’s a lot of wear and tear on a school supply. So, the top priority for the best pocket folders is that they need to be sturdy. Reinforced paper is strong, but plastic two-pocket folders might be a better option. It’s even better if the pocket folders are affordable.
