CheckScape Digital Check Security — United Trust Association (UTA) is an independent institution providing check security for personal users, businesses, government agencies and financial institutions. The UTA issues Digital-Trust Signatures that encode check details including the check amount, number, and payee along with a unique identification number assigned to each check. Digital-Trust Signatures can be used instead of or in addition to your personal signature. The check recipients and issuers can subsequently verify checks and track deposit status with UTA using a standard scanner or barcode reader.
