Don't spend your money
We purchased this item and after it didn't properly cut a single piece of #20 paper, I contacted the company about a return. Their rep, who was very professional, said the blade might be bad and said it could be returned. We ordered a replacement, only to find it's just as bad as the first and are returning the second one as well. We are purchasing a different unit altogether.

This trimmer rips the paper instead of cutting it. The rubber feet are not attached so they constantly come off. The locking mechanism is anchored in cheap ply-board so it broke very easily.

not worth the cost
We purchased this product and were very disappointed with the results. Each time the blade reaches the end of the sheet of paper, the paper creases and tears. Luckily we hadn't tried it on any of our work projects- as the result leaves the paper unusable. It worked slightly better if you cut at least 10-15 sheets at once. But what good is that when you only need to trim 5 or less? I would not recommend this pruduct to others.

A little larger than I expected, but it provides a good base for making cuts. Blade is very sharp,and the cuts are excellent. I will avoid overloading with too may pages at one time, so I don't provide undue stress on blade hinge. But overall, this is really a well made product and will serve my home office very well
