The HP Pavilion a6142n-b includes a huge 20.1" LCD flat panel monitor and is specifically designed for today's digital media. It is powered by the AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor 3800+, a dual-core processor capable of running 2 applications simultaneously. The a6142n-b features 2GB of high-speed memory, an extra-large 400GB hard drive, a multiformat DVD drive and a memory card reader. And AMD Live!™ helps unify your digital entertainment choices and let you access them easily.

The included HP w2007 20.1" widescreen LCD monitor offers built-in speakers, WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) native resolution, and a fast 5ms response time suitable for action movies and high-speed gaming. It also has adjustable tilt, analog and digital (DVI-D) connectivity for flexibility, and HDCP support for viewing protected high-definition content. 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio combine for high-quality images and text. And with a depth of just 7 3/10" (including base), the monitor saves space (dimensions: 15 5/8"H x 19 3/10"W x 7 3/10"D).

The LightScribe™ SuperMulti DVD drive lets you burn and play both CDs and DVDs, including DVD-RAM and DVD±R Double Layer format, with 8.5GB capacity per disc. LightScribe lets you etch silkscreen-quality labels (grayscale text and graphics) onto discs using the drive itself: After burning content, just flip the disc over in the drive to burn the label. (Labeling feature requires LightScribe-compatible discs, sold separately.)
