Reading and writing, while basic skills taught at the youngest of ages, can be improved and perfected every step of the way. Teachers should use games and extension activities to encourage student engagement and to reach higher.As students progress through their education and life, they won’t lose their love of writing and reading if they have fond memories of learning to do both well early on. Just as with other subjects, such as math, science or social studies, early experiences play a vital role in determining future success.
