Recurring Shredding Service – Billed Monthly

Recurring payments will be automatically billed on a monthly basis to the selected method of payment. To cancel, log in to your account and access the Subscription Manager through My Account Overview or by clicking on the Subscriptions option.

Choose when you want your papers picked up: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We’ll give you a bin, you fill it up, we pick it up. It’s that simple.

What goes in a shred bin? What doesn't?
Clean paper (any size), blueprints, newspapers, magazines, brochures, mail, photographs, and file folders can go into shred bins; no need to remove staples, paper clips, rubber bands or small binders. The following items do not go into shred bins: paper exceptions (cardboard, telephone books, hard cover books), plastics (plastic bags and packing materials, computer discs, DVDs, CDs, VCR tapes, transparencies, ID badges, driver?s licenses, x-rays), batteries (no batteries of any kind), hardware (computer parts, printer and photocopier parts, trash or hazardous materials), metals, and biohazardous and medical waste.



Why should I shred my documents?

Secure shredding allows businesses to safely and cost effectively destroy unnecessary paper based documents that may contain confidential information. Shredding can help prevent identity theft or data breach, free up space, and recycle documents.


What can I expect after my order is placed?

You will receive an email notification of your order after checkout. Our third party service provider will contact you within 3 business days to schedule your pick up date.

Will my pick up service happen the same day my order is placed?

No, our third party service provider will call you to schedule your pick up within 3 business days.   

Will you pick up my shredding from my house/home office? What about my business office?

We will pick up from your home office for one time shredding services, our third party service provider will bring a bin to your house and wait while you fill up the shred bin. We will also pick up from your business office for one time shredding and reoccurring shredding, our third party service provider will drop of shred bin(s) and based on your initial request your bin(s) will be picked up on a later date. Residential Shredding Services may be limited by area, and is currently not available in Alaska and Hawaii. No Services are available in the Virgin Islands.  

What about my business office?

We will also pick up from your business office for one-time shredding and reoccurring shredding. Our third-party service provider will drop off shred bin(s), and based on your initial request, your bin(s) will be picked up on a later date.

What type of containers do you have for your offsite shredding program?
Iron Mountain offers 65 gallon bins (which hold approximately 230 lbs.) as well as 32 (which hold approximately 100 pounds).     

How secure are the offsite storage facilities?

Our third party service providers have records centers that adhere to key facility requirements for security (inclusive of construction, perimeter security, entry security, interior security, and security planning), fire safety, and environmental control.
