For Delivery Fans
Between the microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher and countertop griddle, an office breakroom retains a lot of heat. Break up uncomfortable hot spots and stifling air pockets that aren’t adequately cooled by air conditioners with a portable fan or stationary fan, both of which come in a variety of sizes to suit small, cramped spaces or large gathering lounges. To keep the air in your breakroom fresh and feeling comfortable, consider additional options, such as air purifiers or humidifiers.
Types of Fans
When dealing with rooms with plenty of square footage, a tower fan is a great option. Tower fans and pedestal fans feature a floor-standing design, so they can be placed by a window or in a corner to powerfully circulate air. Small fans are more versatile when it comes to placement. A small desk fan for example is capable of being put on a table, counter or desk. A portable fan with a built-in handle is a great option to simplify transport. Choose a desk fan with an integrated clip for easy attachment to the side of a breakroom table.
Adjustable Features and Operation
It's easy to direct airflow exactly where you want it when a fan has adjustable features such as with an oscillating fan. Look for small fans and large fans with multiple speed settings. An oscillating fan with a tilting head allows that cool blast of air to end up where it needs to be. Fans with touch-button electronic panels allow simple operation with just 1 touch, whereas remote-controlled fans can be turned on and off from across the room.
Added Convenience
Not all fans are created equal. Consider selecting a bladeless fan in super-quiet offices, where noise disturbances are strictly prohibited. Bladeless fans amplify the surrounding air to deliver cool rushes of air without the loud spinning motion of blades. Fans that have an air ionizer help reduce circulating dust, so air is kept cool and clean.
