Protect hard floors and make furniture moving easier and quieter with surface protectors and furniture sliders. Hard floors made of wood or tile are a significant investment, but you can help to make them last longer with small felt pads that create a soft cushion between the furniture and the floor. Furniture sliders are also great floor protection options, enabling easy furniture movement over a variety of floor surfaces, including carpet. Be sure to also look for rubber pads suitable for protecting cabinet drawers and doors from damage caused by repeated opening and closing as well. Review all of our facility supplies, including workplace posters that can help ensure the safety of the workplace for everyone.

Furniture Sliders

Don't worry about needing special equipment or a large crew of people to help you move a heavy piece of furniture. Instead, use furniture sliders - small disks made of various materials that can help make furniture moving easy. Just place the disks under the corners or legs of the furniture, and glide it across the floor to the desired spot. Furniture sliders come in various sizes and can be used on carpeting, wood and ceramic, among other types of floors.

Covers and Pads

Minor furniture movements can easily damage delicate floors, like wood. To help your floors last longer, use either flexible plastic covers with felt pads on the bottom or self-adhesive felt pads, which bond permanently to a variety of types of furniture. Use them for chairs, office desks, coffee tables and a variety of other pieces of furniture where minor movement could scratch the flooring.

Rubber Pads

Add rubber pads to cabinet drawers and doors to absorb some of the shock when they are closed. Rubber pads can also help make closing quieter.
