Tips for College Pick-Me-Ups: Lift Your Student's Spirits

Leaving for college means venturing into unknown territory. Even the most outgoing students can have a hard time adjusting during that first semester and beyond. While you can't physically be there to cheer up your downcast student, what can you do to boost his/her spirits for a happier semester?
