GOT SLIME? WE DO!

It’s always slime time! And we have all the recipe ingredients on the list to help you make your slime sublime. Find what you need to customize your slime exactly the way you like it with glitter sparkles and more!

This fun and easy crafting craze is about as trendy as it gets! And just about everyone is in on it, too! Just ask the kids from middle school and up who are turning the art of homemade slime into the hottest activity imaginable. And why not? It has everything kids love! It’s goopy, sparkly and can be easily customized! Pull it apart, stretch it and bounce it, too! 

Slime is the latest sure-fire boredom buster for kiddos and tweens of all ages. Jazzing up your slime is when the fun really begins because you can get as creative as you like! And don’t forget, keep your slime in storage containers so that your “fun with slime” never ends. It is a long-lasting toy, after all.

Colored Slime Ingredients:

  • 1 - 4 fl. oz. bottle Elmer's White School Glue
  • 1/4 of a bottle of Elmer's Activator Solution 
  • Food coloring (your choice)

         Follow the easy steps below or:


No. 1 Slime Ingredient: Glue

Elmer’s® Glue is your must-have No. 1 ingredient for making this extra-special gooey slippery substance as much fun as it is! Your slime concoction becomes more putty-like, the more you mix and play with it. 


Mix together Slime ingredients in a bowl:

  • Entire contents of (1) 4 fl. oz. bottle of Elmer's White School Glue
  • 1/4 of a bottle of Elmer's Activator Solution

Mixing Must-Haves

Have fun making slime with colorful tools and more! Use washable spoons for measuring and bowls for mixing. Or, make cleanup easy with disposable bowls. Be sure to add baking soda and activator solution to Elmer’s® Glue to help make your slime super squishy. Gooey hands = slime-y fun!


Color Slime:

  • Add desired amount of food coloring
  • Mix until slime begins to form

All that Glitters is Slime

Who doesn’t want slime that sparkles? Be sure to use shaker-top jars filled with colorful glitter to decorate your slime. Don’t think about over-doing it, because you can never add too much of a good thing, especially when it sparks creativity!


Knead slime:

  • Remove slime from bowl and knead with both hands
  • Add 1/4 TBSP Elmer's Activator Solution
