The idea is to see what you are already doing naturally without a template because those are the things you can incorporate seamlessly into your organization process.
“Yes, we want to push ourselves to grow and improve but we can’t start at that point. The point you should start at is with things that are easy to incorporate into the rhythm and systems you already have in your day-to-day life.” – Lauren Ladouceur
Three Organization Pillars
There are three pillars Lauren shares when developing her organization process to get more done for her business. Each is fundamental to what she preaches and if applied, can help you create a process uniquely suited for you.
- Figure out what season of life you’re in, and make a plan for that. Don’t focus on things that may change for you in the future, focus on who you are today.
- It needs to be natural. Whatever you’re trying to incorporate in your routines or habits needs to be true to who you are today.
- Planning is the key to consistency – you have to go through the physical act of planning on a day-to-day or even a week-to-week basis to achieve consistency.
