I placed an order for a single ream of paper and drove to the store to pick it up curbside (Store #6826 9515 CROSSHILL BLVD #105, OAKLEAF TOWN CENTER). I chose curbside pickup because I have a five-year-old and an 18-month old in my car and unstrapping them and bring them into a store is cumbersome. When I clicked the "I'm Curbside" link in the email, I received the following message, "There was a problem with your order. Please see an associate in the store." I called the store and informed the associate of this and asked if I could just give them my order number. They put me on hold for three minutes (mind you, there were NO other cars in the parking lot and it was not even 9:00am). When they picked up the phone again, I told them the link wasn't working and asked if they could just bring out my order (mind you, there were no other customers in the store). They said they couldn't do this and needed to come in. I stated that I couldn't come in and asked if they could please just bring out my single ream of paper. They responded that they would not do so, as I HAD to use the link in the email. Are you kidding me?? EVEN if that were the case, as a common courtesy they refused to just bring it out to me. That is BEYOND ridiculous! So, you know what I did? I unstrapped my kids; brought them inside Target next door, and bought a ream of paper. I will NEVER shop with Office Depot again. I don't care if Office Depot is the ONLY place that carries an item, mark my words you will NEVER get a dime of my money again. Enjoy your demise.

You would think during this pandemic people would have more of a heart. My second monitor went out which I need it for work at home. I called to see if they had one and they did. I was told they couldn’t hold, but I can order online. I tried placing the order, but couldn’t because it said they didn’t have it in stock. Called back to see if they could hold it for an hour since THEIR website was wrong and got absolutely no help!! I understand policy and procedure, but if it’s YOUR website that’s not accurate why not try to assist your customer?? Just crazy. His response was “this is first come first serve” This is the 3rd time this same manager (a guy) has been absolutely no help. Have some compassion!!!

I needed a 2 page document scanned. 2nd printer has been broken for weeks. With 6 other customers in line to use the one available printer I asked the available employee standing behind the desk if I could get my document scanned and he said its only policy to scan documents 25 pages or more. Manager told me he would put me in the que which would be a 2 hour wait. All this while there are employees asking "how can I help you". Customer service skills are a thing of the past. With businesses closing due to the pandemic you would think customer retention was of upmost importance. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Don't claim to price match if you're going to give the clients a hard time about it! When I entered this location, the first young gentleman I encountered was very kind. He greeted me with a smile! I thought this would be a great visit. However, once I found the items I needed for my home-office, I asked if they price match because I had just seen one of the items in Walmart for much cheaper. They said they did. The second gentleman at the register, however, gave me a hard time. He looked the price up on a corporate website that showed $16.99. I showed them it had $ 11.99 on their app yet there was a sale that reduced it to $8.99. He completely dismissed my claim about the sale and went back and forth with me a couple of times on the app price that was right before him! He finally said he would be willing to price match the $11.99 as though he were doing me a favor and not honoring their own policy. By the way, the item WAS $8.99 at both Walmart and on Amazon. I will NEVER shop here again.

I went to this store on June 20,2020 to buy a keyboard. I went home and realized the space bar on the keyboard did not work. I returned to the store on Crosshill to return the keyboard and was told they will not accept my return because of Covid. When I purchased the keyboard there was no sign and no associate ever told me of the strict NO RETURN policy. There was nothing to alert me to this policy. The keyboard I purchased is defective. It should not be going back on a shelf for another customer to purchase so that should negate the idea of a potential spread of Covid. I am now with no keyboard and no money and your company and the people representing your company do not seem to care. When will you make your customers a priority? The item I purchased is defective. It should not be placed back on the shelf. There is no valid reason why I was not granted a return of my money. There is only one reason I can think of and that is that your company does not honor or value your customers. It is clear your customers are not a priority and I hope others will proceed with caution when purchasing items from this store, because once the transaction is made, your value as a customer is no longer of importance.
