If I could give it zero stars, I would. My grandmother and I went to the store for a desk and found many displayed in the back of the store. They were on "sale' and still very expensive. When I found one I really liked, we asked one of the workers to help us find a chair and order the desk. He would not open one of the boxes and didn't seem to understand us. He also seemed to get frustrated very quickly. We bought a chair, and left it for pickup (our car at the time was too small to transport it). The worker told us we could order the desk from home, so we left to order it ourselves. We quickly found out that the desk was not on the online store. So, we took a bigger car to pick up the chair, and went to order the desk at the store. The man who helped us earlier, was rude and called us "lady." He didn't explain to us clearly about why he also could not order the desk. Just told us we couldn't buy the one on the floor, even though it's not in stock. Fair warning to anyone looking to buy here; if it's on display, it's likely not in stock.

Jonathon was incredibly helpful in having a set of two chairs shipped from the Raleigh to Burlington store. He initiated the transfer in minutes! We received the chairs the next morning! Very appreciative of his help and would highly recommend this store!

Worst service, old tall lady who I guess supposed to help customers, First just ignore me and other customers then looked at me like what the heck you want? Poor service, very sad. Other customers asking what kind of service is this?

My daughter and mother in law went hunting for a desk and chair. They could not buy the floor model of the desk and it is out of stock so they were also told it cannot be ordered. ?? There was a chair they wanted to see in the box but were told they could not open it and look at it. ?? I am so disappointed and my daughter is in her room just so frustrated. Very poor customer service.

I had horrible experiences with the office depot purchase twice in the last couple of days. I am providing a brief description of both instances: 1. order # 112165669-001: I placed the order, payment was deducted and received confirmation. The next day, I received an email stating the order can not be fulfilled. 2. Order # 111899982-001: I managed to find the same item in another store, which is half an hour's drive from my place. I placed the order and collect it through the curbside pickup option. However, after coming home, I found that the wrong item (color of the ordered item is different) was given to me. This item is very heavy (75 kg), and I live on the 2nd floor. It took me great pain and effort to bring the item up on the 2nd floor. When I contacted the customer support, I was asked to bring it to the store and exchange it. Because of the mistake on the office depot side, I will have to bring the package down from the 2nd floor, drive 30 mins to the store, get the correct package, drive back 30 mins from the store, and get it up on the 2nd floor again. Please keep in mind that the weight of the package is 75kg. Also, I find the customer care representative extremely rude, who told me that I should bear the pain, and office depot can not do anything. It is extremely unprofessional to ask the customer to go through all this pain when the mistake was committed on the office depot side. This was my first shopping experience with the office depot, and I already regret my decision to order this item from office depot.
