Really want to give a shout out to Ryan (I hope I got his name correct). He gave me great customer service- made my purchase of an adjustable height desk, quick and easy. He also loaded it in my car. I am giving the store a 4 star rating because I had searched online for the desk and the Creedmore store showed none available, so I had gone to a store which showed they did have one. If they had one, I never saw it and now one ever spoke to me. But Ryan made up for most of the day!

I had a very negative experience and felt very uncomfortable during my office depot visit. I went to pick up a mouse for my computer last week I did not wear a mask I have a medical issue prevents me from wearing a Mask. I had tested for Corona virus with negative result the day before. As i was looking for the product the cashier lady points that I need to wear a Mask I respectfully covered my mouse with my shirt T shirt. She sternly tells me to cover my nose I told her No.. I realized that she was looking at me in a very suspicious unwelcoming way, I thought about it for a moment then . I decided to walk to my car and bring a mask. As I was walking out to my car the cashier was helping a customer load office product in customer vehicle. as I walked by, I hear her bad mousing me to the customer she realizes that I was passing by she stops talking which made both myself and the other customer very uncomfortable.. I bring my mask and put it on and stand by the cash register to pay for the product that same cashier ignores me and she helps another customer by the service desk even though there is a cashier by that area. She finally came back and cashed me out. I had been frequently at office depot and bought printers and other office products and never had such a bad experience. I hope Office depot and other stores will allow room for customers that cannot wear masks. especially that most people are respecting distancing and other safe rules

I went to this location to purchase a computer desk. The sales associate informed me that they did not have any but volunteered to check nearby stores. She told be that the Walnut St. store in Cary did have the desk in-stock. The sales associate at the Creedmoor store called the Cary store while I was there and advised me that she confirmed the desk was in stock. The sales associate even gave the Cary store my name, address and phone # and advised them I was picking the item up the same day, so the Cary store would hold the desk until I drove the 20 minutes across town. Needless to say when I arrived at Cary, 20 minutes later, the store associates could not find the desk in-stock. The manager of Cary called Creedmoor and said the sales associate at Creedmoor denied she called Cary even through I had a pick-up order form that the associate printed and a customer code that Office Depot texted to me confirming my request to hold the item for purchase. I also spent 15 minutes listening to the Creedmoor store associate speaking to someone on the phone and taking down my personal info (including my birthday)! The Creedmoor store associate even commented that the info that they asked for was excessive for a simple hold. The store manager at Cary did not believe my account of the situation even though my mother was at both locations and verified the same thing. The Cary manager said no one at Creedmoor spoke to anyone at Cary and basically called me a liar to my face! Frustrated, I told her I would not be shopping at OfficeMax/Depot again. She yells at me "It's not my fault. " on my way out. IT IS YOUR FAULT. As the manager of the store your inventory in your store should match your inventory in the computer system! If the manager at Cary did her job, I would have no need to step foot in Cary store because I and the Creedmoor associate would have known that the item I wanted to purchase was not in stock at the Cary, Walnut St store! I am also disappointed that the associate at Creedmoor would deny speaking to anyone on the phone about holding the item for me. The Creedmoor associate was very helpful and polite while I was in her store and did her best to help me. I am not sure why she lied about what she did to try to locate the item I wanted to purchase. If a mistake was made that is okay. But it is not okay to lie and make your customer out as dishonest. I have one more trip to make to Office Depot/Max tomorrow. I will be returning a desk chair that I purchased earlier today from another location. Office Depot/Max did not respect me, so I choose to spend my money someplace where I am valued as a customer!

This afternoon, I received rude customer service at the print desk when I was picking up an order. I was there to pick up prints my boss ordered and the man behind the service desk did not want to see the text I was sent about the pick up and asked me questions that could have been answered in the text and was a jerk about it! I will not be going to that store again!
