Ensure that your facility has all of the light bulbs it needs to keep it operating safely and securely, from light bulbs for exit signs to those for recessed lighting in hallways and public areas to those for storage areas. Choose from a wide range of light bulbs in the sizes, shapes, wattages and materials you need to keep everything brightly lit for your employees and visitors. Be sure to browse all of our additional facility supplies, including pesticides and repellents as well.

Choosing the Right Bulb

Especially if you are purchasing a light bulb with an unusual make or shape, make sure your selection will fit the existing light. Ideally, you may need to remove the old light bulb to double check sizes and any indicative markings, including wattage. Remember that in many cases lower-wattage energy-efficient fluorescent light bulbs, halogen light bulbs or LED light bulbs may produce the same light as higher-wattage incandescent bulbs.

Energy-Efficient Options

If you are stocking up on light bulbs for your facility, consider making the transition to energy-efficient light bulbs, which can last significantly longer and produce the same amount of light as higher-wattage bulbs, saving money both annually and in the long-term. Before selecting a bulb, make sure the light produced will suit your facility's needs. For example, some energy-efficient bulbs can produce a white light instead of the yellow-tinged light of older bulbs. That can be great for work areas, but may not be ideal for public areas, like a hotel lobby. Look for dimmable options, if you need to replace dimmable light bulbs, and make sure the bulbs you choose are appropriate for indoor use, outdoor use or both, depending on your needs.
